Kirby Dewayne is 3 Months!

Wow!!! My newborn has turned into a Baby! He is so precious!

Kirby, you are a healthy, happy precious little boy and Mama loves you sooo much!

You are drinking 5 oz at a time, every 2-3 hours! You are considered a little piggy in my book! You are starting to pick up things, toys and teethers, and trying to help hold your bottle. You have 1 tooth, and 1 more about to come in anyday now! You drool, and make little bubbles with your spit! You love to suck on your hands and fingers. You adore your Big Brother, and watch his every move. That feeling is mutal for Austin! He absolutely adores you also! He's always wanting to pick you up, kiss and hug you! It is so sweet! You wear a size 2 diaper and are quickly approaching a size 3! I tried giving you some bananas the other day, you seemed to like the taste of it, but it wasn't coming fast enough! We will most likely be starting baby food everyday by 4 months. You sit up in your Bumbo seat pretty well, and you also try to pull yourself up to a sitting position when being held! You absolutely hate being on your tummy! You have been rolling over from your tummy since 1 month old! I can't keep you on your tummy, ever!

I love you more than anything! You hold a very special place in my heart! I am looking forward to watching you grow, but also want you to stay little!!!

Sugar Babies

I gave this post the title "Sugar Babies" because every time I see this...

I just want to steal some sugar!!!!

Lately, around my house, this is what Austin wants to do! Love his brother! He has an awesome Love for his baby brother! I am so thankful for this! Unlike most 4 year olds, Austin wants to be a huge help with Brother! I tend to get overwhelmed at times (depending on the amount of fussiness out of this Lil' Booger!) and Austin sometimes makes me feel a little better! He says things like "It's okay Kirby, shhh, shhh, shhh!!!" Ha ha! He's heard it from me like 10 thousand times in the last few months!

 Kirby has definitely steered away from the colic, Thank the Lord above, and has become a little more happy in life! He will smile and "coo" and play with his toys! This is such a relief! I know the poor baby had to be miserable to scream every waking moment since the time we brought him home from the hospital. I was told by many people that it could last 6 months or more! (Sheesh!!) The Dr. told me it shouldn't last more than 3 months! We got about 9 dreaded weeks out of Mr. Colic, then he headed on out!! Now, we have a pleasant (almost) 3 month old! Besides a little fussiness from teething (yes, I said teething) and an earache, we get some smiling out of this little cutie!

On another note, our Christmas was nice. Very laid back and enjoyable! I am a slacker (of course) and didn't even break out my camera @ my Family's get together! I know, I'm terrible! However, I did snap a few pics of Austin and Kirby opening gifts Christmas morning.

We had a great day! After we opened gifts @ home, we started dinner. We stuffed our faces with some of my favorites, Turkey, Ham, dressing, Greens, rolls, and of course.....desserts! Delish!! That evening we headed over to my Mom's house for gift exchanging/socializing. We had a great time there too! I'm ashamed we didn't snap any pictures there! :(

Kirby has learned what and where his tongue is! Austin was so amazed by this yesterday. He stuck his tongue out to Kirby, and Kirby copied! SOOOOO CUTE!!!!

I am so thankful to be so blessed with two Healthy Kids! They are my life, and nothing will/can ever change that!! I hope you all enjoy the pics and keeping up with our chaos!

Bring on the New year!

I have to say that 2011 brought many blessings my way! I started a new job in February, had a new addition to the family in October, and had some wonderful Holidays with friends and family! I am very blessed in each and every way possible, and am truly Thankful for that! I enjoy my time as a Mommy, and cannot wait to see what 2012 will bring! Hope everyone has a safe New Year's holiday, and a very blessed new Year!!

Getting Started!

I don't know if this is the thing for me, but I'm going to give it a shot! I have to get some pictures on here ASAP!!! Just can't do it here at work!

I am anxious for this coming weekend and Christmas Day!!! I cannot wait for Austin to see what Santa will bring him! Speaking of Santa, the Daycare gave me the wish list he gave to Santa last Friday. Let me just say, so darn cute! Of course, Austin doesn't know they gave it to me, b/c he thinks it's with Santa in the North Pole. His letter said:

Dear Santa, Please bring me a toy dirtbike and a Guittar! Thanks, Austin

He wrote each and every letter all by himself! So proud of my Big Boy! It is amazing how much he has learned in his VPK class since August! Austin is a very, very busy boy! He's smart, just getting him to actually SIT down for a few minutes to learn is a task! I feel for his VPK teacher!! Lol! He is as sweet as can be (most of the time) and absolutely LOVES his Baby Brother, Kirby!

Kirby is my 2 1/2 month old! He's such a sweet boy! The first 8 weeks of his life, he screamed! He had colic and still has acid reflux. He's come out of the colic, and just has the acid reflux! So, not near as much screaming. He can sit for a while (30 min-1hour) and play! He's starting to coo and smile ALOT! He can roll over from belly to back (I think he hates to be on his belly, so he just rolls over back to his back. He did this @ 1 month old!!) Also, when holding him in your arm, he tries so hard to pull himself to a sitting up position! He has 1 tooth on the bottom, and one on the way in up top. Although, the teeth are not in the front for first teeth, they are on the left side of his mouth. He is still waking up 1-2 times @ night for a feeding. Not at a scheduled time. He's pretty random with his times!! Mommy seems to be more rested here lately! Thank you Lord!
